Instructions

Step 1: Create the Dough (Skip if Using Store-Bought)

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg, then mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Step 2: Prepare the Sweet Filling

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until spreadable.

Step 3: Shape the Bunny Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out dough into a ¼-inch thick rectangle.
  3. Spread cinnamon filling evenly, then roll tightly from the long side to form a log.
  4. Slice into 1-inch thick rounds for bunny faces.
  5. Cut a small strip of dough, split lengthwise, and shape into loops for ears. Press them onto the top of each roll.

Step 4: Bake to Golden Perfection

  1. Place shaped bunnies on a baking sheet, leaving space between them.
