Description
Cheddar-Stuffed BBQ Bacon Bombs are delicious bites filled with a savory mixture of ground beef, cheddar cheese, and bacon, all wrapped in crescent roll dough and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking the ends in to seal.
- Place the bacon bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with barbecue sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the beef is cooked through. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with additional barbecue sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
