Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Cookie Dough Overnight Oats that combines the flavors of cookie dough with the health benefits of oats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Fold in mini chocolate chips and chopped nuts if using.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly into four jars or containers with lids.
  4. Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soak and soften.
  5. In the morning, give the oats a good stir and add a splash of milk if desired for a creamier texture. Enjoy cold or heat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds if you prefer it warm.

Notes

  • For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder to the mixture.
  • Customize your oats by adding different mix-ins like dried fruit, seeds, or swapping chocolate chips for white chocolate or butterscotch chips.
