16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed

Blue gel food coloring (or full bottle of regular blue food coloring)

12 chocolate chip cookies, chopped (such as Chips Ahoy)

Instructions

Color the Whip
In a large bowl, combine the whipped topping with blue food coloring until it reaches the bright Cookie Monster shade you love. -
Build the First Layer
Line 12 ice cream sandwiches across the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish. Trim one or two sandwiches as needed to fit. -
Add the Frosting
Spread half of the blue whipped topping over the sandwiches evenly. -
Cookie Sprinkle
Sprinkle half of the chopped chocolate chip cookies and Oreos over the whipped topping layer. -
Repeat the Layers
Add another 12 ice cream sandwiches, followed by the rest of the blue whipped topping. Finish with the remaining chopped cookies. -
Freeze
Cover the dish loosely with foil and freeze for 3 to 4 hours until firm. -
Serve
Slice into squares and serve immediately. Store leftovers in the freezer.
