Description

Ingredients

  • 400 g cucumbers
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bunch of fresh dill, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice cucumbers into thin rounds or sticks.
  2. Toss them in a bowl with 1/2 tsp of salt and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain any excess water released from the cucumbers.
  4. Add dill, garlic, lemon juice, sugar, and olive oil.
  5. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Mix well and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • For extra zing, add a splash of apple cider vinegar or a pinch of chili flakes.
  • This snack is best served chilled.
  • You can make it ahead and store it for up to 2 days in the fridge.
