Description
A quick and easy recipe for crispy air fryer pasta chips that are perfect for snacking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces uncooked pasta (any shape, such as rotini or penne)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the pasta is evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Place the seasoned pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry the pasta for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the pasta chips are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the chips from the air fryer and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese while they are still hot.
- Allow the chips to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
- Experiment with different cheese toppings like cheddar or mozzarella.
- You can use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for a healthier or dietary-specific option.
