Crispy Air Fryer Salmon is a quick, tasty delight!

This golden-glazed salmon is a 15-minute flavor bomb. Sweet honey, tangy Dijon, and savory soy come together in an irresistibly sticky glaze that caramelizes beautifully in the air fryer. It’s healthy, fast, and packed with bold, satisfying flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons honey (or a keto honey substitute)

  • 1½ tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce (or Tamari/Coconut Aminos for gluten-free)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with oil to prevent sticking.

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture—this helps achieve a crisper exterior.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, and garlic powder until well combined.

  • Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then brush both sides generously with the prepared glaze.

  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

  • Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the edges are slightly crispy.

  • Serve immediately with your choice of side—steamed vegetables, salad, or mashed cauliflower work wonderfully.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of your salmon fillets—check for doneness around the 8-minute mark.

  • For a spicy twist, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.

  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheated in the air fryer or a skillet over medium heat.

  • You can also bake this recipe at 400°F for about 12–15 minutes if you don’t have an air fryer.
