Croissant Cookie Delight Recipe is a must-try treat!

A viral dessert mashup you didn’t know you needed—crispy, buttery croissants stuffed with gooey chocolate chip cookie dough, baked to golden perfection. The Crookie is an irresistible combination of flaky pastry and chewy cookie bliss with a touch of sea salt and melted chocolate. Serve warm for maximum swoon!

Ingredients

  • Croissants (preferably day-old for easy slicing)

  • Chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • Dark chocolate, roughly chopped (optional but highly recommended)

  • Sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)

  • Icing sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) or 160°C fan.

  2. Prepare the Croissants:
Using a serrated knife, carefully slice each croissant lengthwise, like a sandwich, but don’t cut all the way through.

  3. Stuff with Cookie Dough:
Fill the inside of each croissant with room temperature cookie dough. Add any extra dough on top for a more indulgent finish.

  4. Add Dark Chocolate (Optional):
Tuck a few chunks of dark chocolate inside and press some onto the top for extra richness and meltiness.

  5. Bake:
Place the stuffed croissants on a lined baking tray and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cookie dough is golden and just set.

  6. Finish and Serve:
Drizzle with melted chocolate, sprinkle with sea salt, and dust with icing sugar if desired. Serve warm while gooey!

Notes

  • Use croissants that are at least half a day old—they slice and hold their shape better.

  • Homemade cookie dough gives you better flavor control, but store-bought works well too.

  • Add chopped nuts, caramel chips, or peanut butter chips to mix it up.

  • Best enjoyed fresh from the oven, but can be reheated in a toaster oven for a quick dessert fix.
