Description
Grilled Lemon Garlic Salmon Steaks are a flavorful and healthy dish, perfect for seafood lovers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon steaks (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Place the salmon steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the marinade.
- Place the salmon steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For added flavor, try marinating the salmon overnight for a deeper taste.
- Substitute the salmon with other fish like trout or tilapia for a different twist.
