- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- Stir in the lemon juice, capers, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley if using.

- For a creamier sauce, add 1/4 cup of heavy cream after removing the sauce from heat.
