Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast:

    • In a small bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  2. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt.
    • Gradually add the yeast mixture, stirring until a rough dough forms.
  3. Knead & Let It Rise:

    • Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
    • Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Shape & Bake:

    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crusty.
  5. Cool & Serve:
