- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the breadcrumb mixture evenly over each shrimp, pressing down slightly to adhere.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Substitute the shrimp with scallops or fish fillets for a different seafood twist.
