- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, gochujang, sesame oil, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced rice cakes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Thread the marinated rice cakes onto skewers, alternating with pieces of green onion.
- Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are slightly charred and heated through.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds over the skewers before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add more gochujang to the marinade.
- Try adding vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini to the skewers for extra flavor and nutrition.
