Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 grams minced beef or pork
  • 300 grams minced chicken
  • Salt to taste
  • Dried dill to taste
  • Pepper mix to taste
  • Dried garlic to taste
  • Meat seasoning to taste
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 300 grams cottage cheese
  • 34 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 20 grams dried dill
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 250 grams bacon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meat Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the minced beef and chicken. Add in the grated potatoes, eggs, and cottage cheese. Season with salt, pepper mix, dried garlic, and meat seasoning to taste. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  2. Form the Patties: Take small portions of the meat mixture and shape them into round patties, making sure they are uniform in size. Set the patties aside.
  3. Cook the Bacon: In a frying pan, cook the sliced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan and set it aside.
  4. Fry the Patties: In the same frying pan, add a bit of oil if needed. Fry the patties on both sides until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  5. Serve: Once the patties are cooked, top each with a few pieces of crispy bacon and a sprinkle of dried dill for garnish.

Notes

  • You can customize the seasoning to your preference. Adding fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon can give it a fresh kick.
  • If you don’t have cottage cheese, you can substitute with ricotta or cream cheese for a slightly different texture and flavor.
  • If you prefer, these patties can be baked in the oven instead of frying for a lighter version. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
