This Savory Chicken & Mozzarella Bliss Bake is a one-pan wonder loaded with juicy chicken, a rich tomato-garlic sauce, and bubbly, golden mozzarella. With a perfect balance of herbs and seasonings, it’s an easy and satisfying meal that brings the flavors of Italy straight to your table.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 16 oz can chopped tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ red onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 23 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep – Preheat the oven to 375°F. Pat the chicken dry.
  2. Score & Season – Lightly score the chicken and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder. Drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Make the Sauce – In a bowl, mix chopped tomatoes, garlic, red onion, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Assemble – Pour the tomato mixture over the chicken in a baking dish, then top with mozzarella.
  5. Bake – Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly. Broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden finish.
  6. Garnish & Serve – Top with fresh basil leaves and enjoy!
