Cinnamon Sugar Twists are a delightful and easy-to-make treat that combines the flavors of cinnamon and sugar with flaky crescent roll dough.

- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Brush each triangle with melted butter and sprinkle with a little of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Fold each triangle in half lengthwise to create a smaller triangle.
- Twist each triangle several times to create a spiral shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a fun variation, try adding a drizzle of icing made from powdered sugar and milk on top after baking.
- You can also experiment with different spices, such as nutmeg or cardamom, mixed into the sugar for a unique flavor twist.
