Ingredients

Scale

Core Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
    • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
    • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  2. Prepare the Noodles:
    • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
    • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
    • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the egg noodles, cover, and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.
  3. Combine and Finish:
    • Once the noodles are cooked, stir in butter and Parmesan cheese. Mix until the sauce is creamy and the butter is fully melted.
    • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon some sauce over it. Heat for an additional 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
  4. Serve and Garnish:
    • Plate the chicken and noodles. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Don’t Overcook the Chicken: Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) to keep the chicken juicy.
  • Stir the Noodles: Stir occasionally to prevent the noodles from sticking or clumping.
  • Fresh Parmesan: Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and texture.
