Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
- Thaw phyllo dough overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan or microwave.
- Coat the first sheet of phyllo with melted butter. Repeat with three more sheets, buttering each except the last.
- Place brie cheese in the center of the phyllo, add fruit preserves on top.
- Fold the phyllo over the brie and seals the edges. Brush with remaining melted butter.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 3-5 minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.
Notes
Work quickly with phyllo dough to prevent drying. Keep each layer well buttered for the best crispiness.
