Ingredients

  • For the Beef
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • For the Big Mac Sauce
  • ½ cup light mayonnaise
  • cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup dill pickles chopped
  • tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • For Assembling the Bowls
  • 8 cups iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup dill pickles chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes chopped
  • ½ cup red onion chopped

Method

  1. Cook the Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  2. Season the Meat: Stir in chopped onion, yellow mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until onions are soft. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Big Mac Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Assemble the Bowls: Divide shredded iceberg lettuce among four bowls. Top each with the cooked beef mixture.
  5. Add Toppings: Sprinkle on shredded cheese, chopped pickles, diced tomatoes, and red onion.
  6. Drizzle & Serve: Spoon the homemade Big Mac sauce over the top and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Meal Prep Friendly: Store ingredients separately and assemble fresh before serving.
  • Low-Carb Option: Use sugar-free ketchup and mayonnaise for keto-friendly Big Mac sauce.
  • Dairy-Free Alternative: Swap cheddar cheese for dairy-free cheese or omit it altogether.
  • Extra Crunch: Add crumbled bacon or sesame seeds for extra texture.
