Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prep the Pan: Spray a 9x9-inch baking pan with non-stick spray and line with parchment paper.
- Brown the Butter: Melt 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a medium pot over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until golden.
- Melt Marshmallows: Stir in 8 cups of mini marshmallows and a pinch of sea salt until fully melted.
- Combine & Add Vanilla: Add 1/4 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract to the warm marshmallow mixture.
- Mix with Cereal: In a large bowl, mix 6 cups of Rice Krispies with the melted marshmallow mixture.
- Layer the Treats: Transfer half of the Rice Krispie mixture into the pan, layer with dulce de leche, and top with remaining mixture.
- Cool & Set: Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares.

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
