Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 package 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking the ends in to seal.
  • Place the bacon bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with barbecue sauce.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the beef is cooked through. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with additional barbecue sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
  • You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
