Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking the ends in to seal.
Place the bacon bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with barbecue sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the beef is cooked through. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve warm with additional barbecue sauce for dipping.
