Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the refrigerated crescent roll dough carefully and cut it into 8 triangular pieces. Arrange the cut triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet, forming a rectangle.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Whisk these ingredients together until well-blended.
- Using a pastry brush or the back of a spoon, evenly brush the prepared butter mixture over the arranged dough. Then, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly on top.
- Place the baking sheet in your preheated oven and bake the Cheesy Breadsticks for about 12-15 minutes.
- Once baked, remove the Cheesy Breadsticks from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Cut them into strips or serve them whole, and offer them warm alongside a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Use parchment paper for a crispier texture and easy cleanup. Consider adding cooked bacon bits, jalapeños, or fresh herbs to the topping for extra flavor. Keep a close eye on your breadsticks while baking to prevent over-browning.
