Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 6- inch tortillas
  • Optional toppings: sour cream salsa, green onions

Method
 

  1. Cook Ground Beef: Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add Salsa: Stir salsa into the beef mixture and let cool slightly.
  3. Mix Cheesy Filling: Combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and the beef mixture in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Assemble Tacos: Lay tortillas flat, spoon 2–3 tablespoons of filling onto one side, and fold into half-moon shapes.
  5. Brush with Butter: Brush tops with melted butter to ensure crispiness.
  6. Bake: Arrange tacos on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Top and Serve: Add your favorite toppings like sour cream, salsa, or green onions and serve warm.
