Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
Layer the Bread & Fillings: Place 3 slices of bread in the dish, add 6 slices of cheese and all of the sausage, then top with the remaining bread and cheese.
Make the Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
Pour & Let It Soak: Evenly pour the egg mixture over the layered bread, pressing gently to help it absorb. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Bake Until Golden: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Garnish & Serve: Let cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
