  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 2/3 cup Baking Soda for boiling
  • 1/4 cup Packed Light Brown Sugar

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add all-purpose flour and kosher salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Grease a bowl with cooking spray and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  4. Punch down the dough and divide into 8 pieces. Roll into ropes, shape into pretzels, and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Boil 10 cups of water with baking soda. Boil each pretzel for 30 seconds and return to the baking sheet.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F. Brush each pretzel with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  7. Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
