Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Brush each triangle with melted butter and sprinkle with a little of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Fold each triangle in half lengthwise to create a smaller triangle.
Twist each triangle several times to create a spiral shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
