Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips and chopped nuts if using.
  • Divide the mixture evenly into four jars or containers with lids.
  • Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soak and soften.
  • In the morning, give the oats a good stir and add a splash of milk if desired for a creamier texture. Enjoy cold or heat in the microwave for 30-60 seconds if you prefer it warm.

Notes

  • For a protein boost, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder to the mixture.
  • Customize your oats by adding different mix-ins like dried fruit, seeds, or swapping chocolate chips for white chocolate or butterscotch chips.
