- 1 cup cottage cheese low-fat or full-fat
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced bell pepper any color
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish optional
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna and cottage cheese. Stir until well mixed.

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and stir gently until everything is well coated.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. If desired, chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
Serve on a bed of lettuce, in a sandwich, or with whole-grain crackers. Garnish with fresh parsley if using.
- For added crunch, mix in some chopped pickles or sliced almonds.
- Substitute the tuna with shredded chicken or chickpeas for a different protein option.
