Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup crab sticks shredded
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded crab sticks, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all the dry ingredients.
  • Gradually add the cold water to the mixture, stirring until a smooth batter forms. If the batter is too thick, add a little more water until it reaches a pourable consistency.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Using a spoon or a small ladle, pour small amounts of the batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cracker. You may need to work in batches.
  • Spray the tops of the crackers lightly with cooking spray for extra crispiness. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once cooked, remove the crackers from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack. Repeat the process with any remaining batter.
  • Serve the crispy crab stick crackers warm or at room temperature as a snack or appetizer.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the batter.
