  • 500 g puff pastry store-bought or homemade
  • 2 large apples peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: Powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat and Prepare the Pastry
  2. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Prepare the Apples

  6. Assemble the Dessert

  8. Brush the apples with melted butter.

  10. Egg Wash and Bake
  11. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
  12. Transfer to a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
