Method

Preparation
  1. Start by washing and cutting a head of fresh cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower with buffalo wing sauce, extra virgin olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, and white whole wheat flour. Toss until each piece is fully coated.
  3. If using an air fryer, preheat it to 400°F (200°C). For oven preparation, set it to 450°F (232°C). Marinate the coated cauliflower for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. For the air fryer, spray the basket lightly with cooking spray and arrange the cauliflower in a single layer. Air fry for 15 minutes, tossing halfway.
  2. For the oven, grease a baking sheet and spread the cauliflower mixture evenly across the sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes, tossing halfway.
  3. After cooking, drizzle an additional tablespoon of warmed buffalo sauce over the bites and toss gently before serving.

Notes

Ensure cauliflower is fully dried before coating for extra crispiness. Adjust buffalo sauce quantity to desired heat level. Monitor cooking times in different appliances to avoid overcooking.
