Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting the fresh mozzarella into sticks, approximately 3-4 inches long and 1 inch thick. Place the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.
  2. While the cheese sticks are chilling, set up your breading station with three separate shallow bowls filled with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each stick in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with seasoned breadcrumbs, repeating for a crunchier texture if desired.
  4. After breading, freeze the mozzarella sticks again for another 30 minutes to help prevent leaking during frying.
  5. Heat enough vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to submerge the mozzarella sticks, heating to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Carefully add a few breaded mozzarella sticks to the hot oil, frying for 2-4 minutes until golden brown.
