  • 500 g puff pastry
  • Mustard to taste
  • 100 g ham
  • 100 g cheese cheddar, mozzarella, or preferred cheese
  • 1-2 tomatoes sliced
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • 30 g Parmesan grated

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Pastry
  2. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread a thin layer of mustard over the pastry.
  5. Assemble the Snack
  6. Evenly distribute ham and cheese over the pastry.
  7. Arrange the sliced tomatoes on top.
  8. Season with ground black pepper to taste.
  9. Shape and Bake
  10. Cut the pastry into squares or desired shapes.
  11. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  12. Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.
  13. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  14. Serve and Enjoy
