Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a large roasting dish lined with aluminum foil.
  2. Score shallow diagonal cuts in a diamond pattern across the surface of the ham.
  3. Insert whole cloves into the center of each diamond cut.
  4. Transfer the ham to the roasting dish and pour 1½ cups of water into the bottom.
  5. Roast the ham for about 20 minutes, checking the water level periodically.
  6. Combine brown sugar, honey, and mustard in a saucepan over medium heat to make the glaze.
  7. Brush the glaze over the ham after the initial roasting period and roast for another 20 minutes uncovered.
  8. Continue glazing every 20-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
  9. Cover the ham with foil and let it rest for about 15 minutes before serving.
