Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat until golden brown.
  3. Combine cooled brown butter with 1 cup of light brown sugar, then mix in 3 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and grated zest of one orange.
  4. In another bowl, sift together 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt. Fold this mixture into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of dried cranberries and 1 cup of chopped white chocolate. Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes.
  7. For the frosting, beat together 8 ounces of cream cheese and 2 cups of confectioners' sugar. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, zest of an orange, and 2 tablespoons of orange juice.
  8. Once cooled, frost the bars and sprinkle with additional dried cranberries.
  9. Melt 0.5 cup of white chocolate and drizzle over the frosted bars.
  10. Chill for at least 30 minutes, then cut into squares and serve.
