Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine your choice of yogurt, sour cream, or mayonnaise for the dressing. Add desired seasonings and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, approximately 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Slice English cucumbers in half lengthwise, scoop out seeds, and slice into thin half-moons.
  4. Slice onion into rings and soak in cold water for about 5 minutes. Drain well.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, cucumber slices, and drained onion. Add optional add-ins if using.
  6. Pour the dressing over the mixture and gently toss until coated.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best texture, combine salad ingredients with dressing no more than 2 hours before serving. Adjust dressing creaminess to preference.
