Ingredients
  

For the Treats
  • 1/4 cup Butter Margarine can be used for a dairy-free option.
  • 40 count Large Marshmallows Mini marshmallows can be used for easier melting.
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Any crisped rice cereal can be used.
For the Color
  • Red & Yellow Liquid Food Coloring Gel food coloring is preferable for vibrant results.
For Decoration
  • Mini Rolos Can substitute with Tootsie Rolls.
  • Green M&Ms Green Skittles can also be used.
For Easy Handling
  • 1/4 cup Cooking Oil Melted butter is a fine substitute.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring continually.
  2. Add the large marshmallows to the melted butter and stir constantly for 3–4 minutes until fully melted.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the yellow food coloring, then add the red food coloring slowly until desired orange hue is achieved.
  4. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies until fully coated, mixing for about 2 minutes.
  5. Coat your hands with cooking oil and roll the mixture into pumpkin-sized balls (2–3 inches in diameter).
  6. While still warm, press a Mini Rolo into the top of each pumpkin and place a green M&M next to it.
  7. Allow the pumpkins to cool for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
