  • 5 cups Miniature Marshmallows Use mini marshmallows for the best consistency.
For the Festive Touch
  • 1 cup Red and Green M&M Candies Other colored candies can substitute for different occasions.
  • 1/4 cup Festive Sprinkles Any colorful sprinkles can be used.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pop about 1 cup of popcorn kernels using an air popper or stovetop method and set aside.
  2. Melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, then add and stir in 5 cups of miniature marshmallows until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and fold until evenly coated.
  4. Mix in 1 cup of red and green M&M candies and 1/4 cup of festive sprinkles, then allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Shape the mixture into tight balls and repeat until done.
  6. Place the popcorn balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool completely for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. Individual popcorn balls can be wrapped and frozen for longer storage.
