Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with butter.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well blended.
- In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and buttermilk until the mixture is light and well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the red and green sprinkles gently using a spatula.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top, optionally add coarse sugar or additional sprinkles on top.
- Bake the bread for 45–55 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then remove and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
