Preparation Steps
- Melt 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter over low heat in a large pot, stirring frequently until fully melted and bubbling gently, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add 10 ounces of marshmallows to the pot and stir continuously until completely melted and well combined, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and gradually fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispies, mixing until the cereal is evenly coated.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray, transfer the mixture into the pan, and press down firmly.
- Once cooled, slice into rectangles or squares and create antler impressions with craft spoons.
- Melt dark cocoa candy melts and pipe them into antler shapes on top of each treat.
- Use melted chocolate to attach candy eyeballs and place a red M&M as the nose.
Notes
Allow the Rice Krispies to cool fully before cutting to achieve clean edges. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
