  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet Kool-Aid Powder any fruit-flavored with citric acid

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda added immediately after removing from heat

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of granulated sugar, 1 cup of corn syrup, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, stirring gently until sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Once the mixture reaches 300°F, carefully remove from heat and stir in one packet of Kool-Aid powder until fully dissolved.
  3. Fold in 1 teaspoon of baking soda, stirring swiftly to activate fizz and incorporate.
  4. Pour the mixture into prepared lollipop molds and insert lollipop sticks.
  5. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until firm to the touch before removing.
  6. Store the lollipops in an airtight container.
