- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather the ingredients and equipment.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch the seams together to create one large sheet.
- Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blackberries, sugar, and vanilla. Mash to create a filling, then spread it over the dough.
- Roll the dough into a tight log and cut into 8-10 even pieces.
- Arrange the rolls in a greased cast-iron skillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and fluffy.
- Drizzle any remaining filling or icing over the rolls and serve warm.
