Ingredients

For the Dip Base
  • 1 package cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 8 oz fresh or frozen spinach sautéed and chopped
  • 1 can artichoke hearts drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese blend
For Flavoring and Color
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • few drops neon green food coloring optional
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • mixing bowl
  • oven-safe dish

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the spinach, sautéing for 3-5 minutes until wilted. Drain excess water, chop, and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Fold in the chopped spinach and artichoke hearts into the mixture. Add shredded cheddar cheese and mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Add a few drops of neon green food coloring and stir until the color is uniform throughout.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips, veggies, or sliced baguette.

Notes

Ensure spinach is thoroughly drained to avoid a watery dip. Customize cheese according to preference for added flavor.
