Step-by-Step Instructions for French-Canadian Poor Man’s Pudding
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, water, and pure maple syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until smooth, about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
