Cuisine American
- 1 pound sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Season the steak bites with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Once the oil is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
- For added flavor, marinate the steak bites in a mixture of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Substitute the sirloin steak with tenderloin or ribeye for a different taste and texture.
