Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Season the steak bites with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  • Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the steak bites in a mixture of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Substitute the sirloin steak with tenderloin or ribeye for a different taste and texture.
