Ingredients
  

For the Cauliflower Steaks:
  • Large head of cauliflower
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • Garlic powder
For the Cheesy Topping:
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
For Garnish:
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Cauliflower:
  1. Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C).
  2. Remove outer leaves and slice cauliflower into 1-inch-thick steaks.
Season for Flavor:
  1. Place cauliflower steaks on a lined baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and evenly sprinkle salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
First Bake for Tenderness:
  1. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the steaks.
  2. Bake for 20 minutes until slightly golden.
Melt the Cheese:
  1. Remove from the oven and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  2. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve:
  1. Finish with chopped fresh parsley.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil the steaks for the last 2 minutes.
  • Serve with a side of marinara sauce for added flavor.
