Preparation Steps
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Crumble the ground turkey into the skillet and stir, cooking for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  5. Add sliced zucchini and cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly softened.
  6. Sprinkle in dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and optional crushed red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes until flavors meld together.
  8. Incorporate grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  9. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or pepper if needed.
  10. Serve immediately garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
