Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Chicken: Roast the cooked chicken carcass at 400°F (200°C) for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a slow cooker or stock pot, add the roasted chicken carcass, optional chicken feet, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, bay leaf, turmeric, ginger, peppercorns, and enough water to cover.
  3. Cook the Broth: Cover and simmer gently for 8-12 hours in a stock pot or overnight in a slow cooker.
  4. Strain the Broth: Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then strain through a fine mesh strainer to catch all solids.
  5. Store or Use: Cool completely, store in airtight containers or freeze for later use.
