  • 1 small Onion Sautéed
For the Pizza Base
  • 1 cup Whole Milk Ricotta Thicker variety preferred
  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Low-moisture preferred
  • 1 cup Garlicky Red Sauce Homemade or store-bought
  • 1 batch Pizza Dough Use a preferred recipe
For Finishing Touches
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Chopped
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional for heat

Method
 

Making the Pizza
  1. Step 1: Mix ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, sautéed garlic, and onion. Roll into 18 meatballs. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Prepare pizza dough; let it rise for 30 minutes if homemade. Roll out to 12 inches.
  3. Step 3: Preheat oven to 500°F, place a pizza stone inside.
  4. Step 4: Spread garlicky red sauce on dough, add mozzarella, meatballs, dollops of ricotta, and basil.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 14–16 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  6. Step 6: Cool for 5 minutes, slice, and serve hot.
