- On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a perfect 12-inch round.
- Spread tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border for the crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese and dollop small amounts of ricotta cheese around the pizza.
- Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 8 to 12 minutes.
- Drizzle hot honey over the pizza when it comes out of the oven, adding fresh basil and red pepper flakes if desired.
