Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to an impressive 500°F (260°C) with the pizza stone inside for at least 30 minutes.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a perfect 12-inch round.
  3. Spread tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Arrange pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese and dollop small amounts of ricotta cheese around the pizza.
  6. Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 8 to 12 minutes.
  7. Drizzle hot honey over the pizza when it comes out of the oven, adding fresh basil and red pepper flakes if desired.
  8. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
